I thought the same. The story itself well written like always. But the description of this farmer as afraid to go seek medical health because it was expensive did not make sense. As far as I know, India is totally different from the USA. That is more like a poor citizen of USA including myself that work and have health insurance. I would be afraid to seek treatments because I had to pay copayments, co-insurance, deductibles and all external fees not covered. But in India, I have very good friends that confirm that health is very accesible. No expensive and you have so many doctors and specialists you can just walk in and see. Maybe that part was too general. India is one of the best health access situations. As far as I understand. Indians are mostly happy, content and I am happy to know this culture and the friends that came with it. Too bad I never dated one lol but I was in love with one and I will take that with me.
