I was 236 lbs back in 2020 before the pandemic. A friend of mine had borrowed me a book about fasting. I read it. I was intrigued since it showed me a way to lose weight. I had tried anything possible and even all those magical pills that only gave me palpitations lol never worked for me. I was walking 1-2 hrs daily. Weekends more. And lost nothing. I purchased another book about intermittent fasting and decided to go for it. I started my journey. I started with 12 hrs. Soon I realized I could do more so I stayed on 16 hrs fasting and from there I could go fasting 18-23 hours each time. Officially I am doing 18 hrs. In three months I lost 36 lbs so I reached the 200 lbs and then the weight loss stopped. I reached a Plato so I decided to switch to 12 hrs or 14 hrs of fasting. I still have my belly fat. Recently I had to have a radical hysterectomy and I am now on 178 lbs. I was forced into menopause and I have no more ovaries either. I want to try to lose more weight but I want to minimize my belly fat. As much as possible. I am not looking for fabulous abs lol … I am starting today the OMAD. I did it before but I was not constant. I do have a question. I have an app that tells me I should drink half of my weight in water oz but if I am doing One meal a day, shall I do the same and drink lots of water ? That’s my question to you. Water normally is what it makes my weight fluctuate. But I don’t want to be dehydrated either. Water has always been my question while fasting.
